Coordee is a digital health application designed to support elderly individuals living at home by creating a centralized, accessible, and secure medical record. The platform enables coordination between different people involved in the user’s care—doctors, nurses, pharmacists, caregivers, family members, and legal guardians—by offering a shared space to log visits, upload documents, schedule appointments, and track health updates.
I was brought in to lead the UX and UI design of the entire app experience. This included adapting the existing brand identity into a complete design system, developing the userflows, creating zoning and wireframes, and delivering a full interactive prototype to support usability testing and future development.

Managing healthcare at home for elderly individuals often involves fragmented communication and scattered medical records. Paper documents get lost, information is passed verbally, and crucial updates can easily fall through the cracks—especially when multiple people are involved in the care process.
Coordee’s challenge was to digitize this experience in a way that remained intuitive, secure, and accessible for both elderly users and healthcare professionals, some of whom may have limited digital literacy or specific accessibility needs. There was also a strong emphasis on data privacy and security, as sensitive medical data would be stored and shared through the platform.
To bring Coordee’s vision to life, I worked across several layers of the product’s design:
Design System Creation: I extended the brand’s existing identity into a modular, accessible, and scalable design system, ensuring consistency across all interface elements. The system was built to support a range of use cases and devices, with a particular focus on clarity, contrast, and readability for older users.
UX Design: I mapped out the complete userflow for each type of profile—elderly users, healthcare professionals, and family members—ensuring that each could quickly access the right information and complete tasks without confusion. I created zoning layouts and wireframes to validate the core structure and content strategy of the app.
UI Design: I designed each screen of the application, using a visual style that is both friendly and professional, with clear call-to-actions, simple navigation patterns, and intuitive iconography. The interface needed to inspire trust while remaining practical for day-to-day medical use.
Interactive Prototypes: I developed prototypes for user testing, allowing stakeholders to interact with the app’s key features before development. These were used to validate user flows and collect feedback from both healthcare professionals and elderly test users.
Coordee is more than a digital health record—it’s a care coordination tool that empowers people to manage elderly care with more ease, transparency, and peace of mind. By focusing on usability, accessibility, and data integrity, the platform ensures that every visit, document, or update is captured and shared in the right place, at the right time.
This project demonstrates how thoughtful UX and UI design can transform complex, multi-user medical processes into clear and human-centered experiences, especially for audiences who need it most.
